How I work

Ground

Read

Choose

Move

Four steps.
Practised across every engagement.

I learned this work in two seats:
Nearly 15 years on the trading desk in international commodity markets, then as an ICF-certified coach.

On a trading desk you learn to read signal in noise, decide with incomplete information, and act with conviction under time pressure. Under different pressure, leaders need the same thing.

My job is to restore that access — and to walk you through it until it's yours.

Why this exists

In every role I've held — and in every client I work with now — I have seen the same pattern.

Under pressure, capable people lose their access to three things at once:

  • the body (they brace, push through, override fatigue)

  • the pattern (they react to noise instead of reading signal)

  • the self (they decide from what's expected, not from what's true)

They don't lose intelligence. They lose clarity.

This framework is the way back.

What this looks like across an engagement

A single session walks the four steps in sixty to ninety minutes.

A six- or twelve-month engagement walks them at the scale of your life:

The first is Ground — slowing the system, building the capacity to think clearly.

The middle phase is mostly Read — surfacing patterns, mapping the system, listening for the self underneath the role.

The back half moves through Choose and Move — decisions made cleanly, actions taken visibly, identity caught up with the change.

And then, you find yourself doing it on your own. Which is the point.

Why it works

This work integrates three layers at once: body, pattern, self. When all three come back online, decisions get easier, clarity returns, and the next move stops feeling impossible.

This is the work.
