If you are in the middle of change, read this first.

If you are changing careers.

If you are building something new.

If you have moved countries, left a familiar role, or are questioning what comes next.

Sometimes — all at once.

You may feel excited and unsettled at the same time.

Motivated, yet uncertain.

Confident one day, questioning yourself the next.

This is not a sign that something is wrong — it is often a sign that something meaningful is unfolding.

Research shows that more than half of professionals globally consider a career change, and for people living abroad, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 — 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

At the end of 2025, I received several messages from my clients that touched me deeply — especially because they came from people navigating exactly this kind of in-between space.

“𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘦 𝘨𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘥. 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘧𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘮 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘮 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘴𝘢𝘧𝘦.”

“𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘺, 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥, 𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘺 𝘮𝘺 𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘯𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴.”

“𝘖𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘐’𝘮 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘺𝘰𝘶. 𝘐 𝘳𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘯 𝘶𝘱 𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 — 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘪𝘵 𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘵 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.”

I came to coaching several years ago during my own period of change. And what I see again and again is this:

𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗿.

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗺 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱, 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝘆𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿.

If this is where you are right now, it doesn’t mean you’re on the wrong path. 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻, 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 — 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳.

What matters most in transition is staying connected to 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 — and remembering that meaningful work often reveals its impact later, not immediately.

And if you feel you would benefit from an external perspective, or simply a confidential space to think out loud — 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗗𝗠.

What kind of transition are you stepping into in 2026?
